National Park De Biesbosch is a unique freshwater tidal area on the border of the provinces Zuid-Holland and Brabant. You can sail through narrow creeks, walk through rough willow beds, watch the overwintering birds, play golf, be deliciously lazy and have a picnic.
Excursions can be made throughout the year by solar-powered whisper boat. Some of these tours are combined with walking excursions. Shorter tours of Hollandse Biesbosch, or longer tours through the heart of the National Park are also available. Biesboschcentrum also hires out canoes, rowing boats and whisper boats to visitors wishing to explore the narrow creeks. This is the best way to explore the Hollands jungle!
